Here are some of the events we're currently planning or have hosted:

Founder's Day - In early March, our chapter hosted this year's founder's day.  The theme of the 2003 Founders’ Day was “Pioneering New Frontiers”.  We were fortunate to have guest speakers, Adrian Fiala, the Huskers color sports commentator, and Marc Shkolnick, Associate Executive Director of the NAA.  Both speakers, true to form, were both funny and informative.  We chowed down on beef and chicken fajitas, and a lot of attendees went home with some great prizes, courtesy of the Big Red Zone and our Houston Texans.  We thought we took some really great pictures, but oddly, none of them turned out...and the person taking the pictures wasn't even drinking.

"Happy Hour" - We had our first ever Big 12 Happy Hour at Bar Houston, December 5th.  Fans from every Big 12 Alumni Chapter came out and had a great time.  Cheap drink prices and door prizes added to festive atmosphere.  Another "Happy Hour" will be planned soon.  Watch the website for more updates.
